Mars United Kingdom is spread across several locations.
In Slough in the Thames valley area of Berkshire, we have our confectionery plant, which also houses one of the largest open plan offices in Europe. The historic riverside towns of Windsor and Eton are situated nearby, while central London and Heathrow Airport are easily accessible.
Our food products are manufactured at our plant in King's Lynn, Norfolk. King's Lynn is an attractive ancient town with interesting historical roots, which bridges the beautiful Norfolk coast and the interesting Fenland countryside. It has good road connections from the south and west and an excellent passenger rail link to London, connecting with the capital in less than 100 minutes.
Mars UK manufactures petfood at three plants in the UK. In the historic market town of Melton Mowbray we have a major canning and pouch facility whilst a short drive away in Peterborough is our dry petfood plant. The Mars Complementary Petcare factory is in Birstall, West Yorkshire a few miles from the vibrant city of Leeds. Our national petfood and food office is located in Waltham on the Wolds in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside.
In Basingstoke, Hampshire, Mars Drinks has two sites manufacturing drinks and machines. Basingstoke is about 30 miles from London.
Mars Information Services, our internal Global Information Technology division has a hub site at Winnersh in the Thames Valley.
