Mars Drinks invests a portion of its research budget on innovations to help customers reduce their energy use, reduce their waste to landfill and help them support societies in the developing world.

A great example of energy saving is the New FLAVIA® C400 machine. It has been designed to only heat enough water for a few hot drinks at a time and to power down into a low energy mode when not in use. It uses 65% less energy than the previous model*. When in energy saving mode, it uses less than a one-third of the energy required to power a 12 Watt light bulb.
